Our first Brisbane Etsy Made Local market on November 28, 2015 at Brisbane City Hall, run by a group of 5 Etsy teams, saw thousands of people lined up in King George Square and many of our 60+ stallholders sell out. 

With the idea of making the market available to more sellers and to accommodate the need that our community had for a market like this, the Brisbane Etsy team moved the 2016 Christmas market the Brisbane Showgrounds and have hosting The Made Local Market in this location ever since.

Our market showcases local makers, artists and designers.  Sellers descend upon The Exhibition Building from Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba and the Scenic Rim.  We even have sellers coming from as far north as Port Douglas and from south of the New South Wales border.

 

Our community of sellers is a supportive and nurturing "village".  It is something that sets our market apart from other markets.
